Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife

Chapter 435 - 434: Let Her Go

Chapter 435 - 434: Let Her Go

Archer Quinn swallowed back the confession that was on the tip of his tongue, feeling a sour ache in his chest.

Bella clung tightly to his clothes, sobbing quietly for a while before suddenly turning around to vomit into the trash can.

Archer suppressed his emotions and gently patted her back.

After Bella finished retching a second time, she looked up at him with tear-filled eyes.

Archer fetched another cup of water and softly said, "Rinse your mouth."

"Oh." Bella responded in a daze, her gaze somewhat unfocused.

She took the water to rinse her mouth. Looking at her thin profile, Archer couldn’t hold back his anticipation any longer. Hesitantly, he probed, "Bella, that person makes you so upset. Have you ever thought about leaving him and starting a new relationship?"

Bella seemed to pause with the cup in her hands, then quietly said, "I can’t. I can’t forget him." After years of being together and the feelings they’ve shared, how could they be forgotten so easily?

Furthermore, Bella was someone who, once fixated, couldn’t see anyone else in her eyes, so how could she start a new relationship?

Archer felt a sting in his heart, a fleeting look of desolation crossing his eyes, but he quickly hid his emotions, softly laughing and half-jokingly saying, "The man who’s loved by our Bella is really lucky. It’s a pity though, why couldn’t that man be me?"

He said the last sentence so softly that he didn’t know if Bella heard it or not.

Archer reached out to wrap his arm around her shoulder, half-hugging her, and said, "Bella, let’s get up and not squat on the floor, or your legs will go numb."

"Okay." Bella nodded woozily, using his strength to stand up, but still ended up stumbling into his arms.

Afraid she’d fall, Archer immediately wrapped his arm around her waist, asking with concern, "Bella, did you sprain your ankle?"

In his embrace, Bella shook her head, trying to stand straight, but her head was dizzy, and her legs weren’t cooperating.

Archer, holding her slender waist, was enveloped by her scent, and with her filling his arms, he felt a sense of unprecedented satisfaction. For a moment, he didn’t want to let go.

"Senior Quinn?" Bella, after struggling twice without success, raised her head in confusion to look at him.

However, she was drunk, her gaze unfocused and hazy with a layer of mist.

Archer looked down at her appearance at that moment, feeling a surge of impulse in his heart, uncontrollably leaning down towards her lips.

"What are you doing?"

But before he could kiss her rosy lips, a clear, cold voice interrupted from the side.

Damian Sinclair looked expressionlessly at the two embracing in the public area of the restroom, anger exploding in his heart with a ’bang’.

If he hadn’t happened to appear here, if he hadn’t come a moment earlier, would the two in front of him already be kissing?

Hearing someone’s voice, Archer finally regained his senses. He quickly collected himself and looked up at the newcomer.

Seeing who it was, Archer was a bit surprised, but he masked his emotions well, "Mr. Sinclair, I didn’t expect to meet you here, what a coincidence."

Damian gave him a cold, stern look and said, "Let her go."

Archer paused, glanced down at Bella, and asked, "Mr. Sinclair, do you know my friend?"
