Chapter 362 - 361: Don’t Take Away My Right to Pick Up My Girlfriend

All the scenes involving the female lead were reshot, even Elaine Vaughn, who had previous scenes with the lead, was called back to the set to reshoot a few shots.

Filming was progressing intensively, and online rumors and scandals about Vivian Norris were overshadowed by other fresh gossip in the entertainment circle.

Bella and Sharon left the filming base together, heading back to Creston. It was only in the car that Bella called Damian.

The phone rang a few times before it was picked up, and Damian’s voice came, "Baby, are you back?"

"Yes, I’m in the car on the way back," Bella replied. "I hear people talking around you. Are you in a meeting?"

"It’ll be over soon, I’ll come to pick you up."

"No need, I’m with my godmother. We’re going to Ms. Flynn’s studio first, then I need to visit Aunt Sienna and Ethan. You go ahead with your work."

"Wait for me at the studio," Damian said. "I’ll come to pick you up after the meeting."

Bella knew she couldn’t persuade him, and could only sigh, "Alright then, I’ll wait for you at the studio. But if you’re busy, really, you don’t have to come, I can manage on my own."

"Ms. Acker, don’t deny me the right to pick up my girlfriend," Damian suddenly lowered his voice. "Besides, we haven’t seen each other for over a month, I want to see you."

Well, nothing she said earlier could compare to that last sentence ’I want to see you’ which touched Bella’s heart more deeply.

Bella blushed slightly, sneaking a glance at Sharon sitting beside her, wondering if her godmother had heard what Damian just said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

But even though she felt shy, her heart felt as sweet as if a honey jar had spilled.

Bella clutched her phone tighter, and after a while, she softly responded, "Okay, then come pick me up."

"Alright." Damian’s voice seemed to soften a bit too, "Wait for me."

"Hmm. That’s it then, see you later." After saying this, Bella waited a moment before hanging up the call.

Sharon smiled and asked, "Is he coming to pick you up?"

Bella blushed and nodded a bit shyly.

Seeing them resolve their misunderstanding and reconcile, Sharon felt happy for her. "Don’t get upset over trivial matters in the future; being happy together is what’s important."

"Hmm," Bella nodded. "Godmother, I feel that after this incident, it seems like Damian has changed a bit."
