Chapter 361 - 360: Continuing the Shoot
"Archer is just kidding with you." Sharon Cheney knew she probably didn’t know what Archer Quinn liked to eat, so she changed the subject according to her cue, "That’s Sue Blaine over there, you have a lot of scenes with her, let me introduce you."
"Sure." Bella Acker said, "I happen to still have a cup of milk tea left."
Archer Quinn said, "I’ll go see the footage from earlier, so I won’t go over."
Sharon nodded and took Bella towards Sue Blaine’s rest area.
Sue Blaine has been in the entertainment industry for quite a while, but she was always playing minor roles until she became popular because of a fantasy drama last year.
She’s quite low-key and I’ve heard she’s easy to get along with.
Sharon had worked with Sue on two other shows before. Although they weren’t very familiar, they had spoken and exchanged contact information.
When Sue saw her coming over, she got up from her chair and said with a smile, "Ms. Cheney."
"Sue, let me introduce you to my goddaughter, Bella Acker." Sharon said, "Bella, this is the Sue I often mention. Sue is particularly skilled in acting, and you have many scenes together this time, so you should learn well from Sue."
"Sister Sue, you wouldn’t know, but when my godmother chats with me, whenever it comes to acting, she praises you many times. So even though we haven’t met before, I’ve already come to admire you a lot." Bella said sincerely, "Sister Sue, this is a hot milk tea I just bought, I don’t know if you like it." She added with a bashful smile.
"I really like milk tea, especially with pearls." Sue certainly wouldn’t refuse the milk tea Bella handed over, accepting it with a smile.
Bella smiled, "That’s great, this one has pearls."
"Thank you, Bella." Sue said with a smile.
"Sue, when you and Bella are filming your scenes together, please guide her a lot." Sharon said, "Bella isn’t a drama school graduate, so there are many things she doesn’t understand."
Sue nodded, "Don’t worry, Ms. Cheney, I’ll help as much as I can. I’ve seen Bella’s previous acting, it’s very lively and expressive, and quite captivating. We can learn from each other."
Bella felt a bit embarrassed by such praise, "Sister Sue, I hardly call that acting, you’re too kind."
"Acting can be learned over time, what’s rare is the natural spiritual energy." Sue saw her face turning red and couldn’t help but laugh, "Bella, you have a pair of eyes perfect for acting, this is a talent that others crave but can’t get, so don’t underestimate yourself."
"Sister Sue, you’re the first to say that." Bella intentionally lowered her voice, sounding aggrieved, "Director Ford says I act like a wooden block, so dumb."
"Haha." Sharon, standing by, laughed, "Director Ford always insults people that way, he even calls Archer dumb."
Seems like it.
No actor has ever escaped Director Ford’s scolding during shooting, but Director Ford’s pursuit of perfection is exactly why every one of his shows maintains such high ratings and reputation.
The three of them laughed together, enjoying a pleasant atmosphere. Although there was some politeness involved, it was much more pleasant compared to interactions with Vivian Norris.
The break ended, and everyone continued shooting.
Bella, having returned early, got pulled into working overtime by Director Ford, ending her holiday prematurely.
