Chapter 461 - 460: No More Studying
The filming crew had already marked the place where the mushrooms were, so they just needed to follow the mountain path to get there.
However, the mountains in winter were covered with snow everywhere, making the ground very slippery, so walking on such a path required extra caution to avoid slipping and getting hurt.
Bella Acker was wearing snow boots, which actually weren’t very slip-resistant. As she walked on the snow, she’d occasionally stumble, "Ah!" Her foot slipped, and Bella fell to her knees on the ground.
Luckily, she was wearing thick clothes, so kneeling like this didn’t hurt.
"Bella, are you okay?" Archer Quinn worriedly reached out to help her up.
Bella quickly stood up and said, "It’s fine, these shoes aren’t slip-resistant. I should’ve changed them earlier."
Archer looked at the road ahead and said, "I’ll hold onto you while we walk, just to avoid you slipping again."
Bella shook her head, "No need, I can walk by myself. Senior Quinn, we should be close to the mushroom spot, right?"
"Almost there, let’s go." Archer didn’t insist further, but as they walked forward, he kept his hand ready to catch Bella if she slipped again.
The sun peeked out from behind the clouds, its golden rays shining down onto the snow-covered forest, the ice crystals on the branches reflecting a rainbow of colors, making everything look dreamlike.
Bella was moved by the beautiful scenery, "So beautiful."
This was her first time in the mountains, and she felt everything around her was as beautiful as a painting.
"Bella, stand over there, I’ll take a couple of photos for you." Archer took out a sponsored phone from the show, finding a good angle while saying, "You don’t need to look at me, just turn sideways and gaze into the distance, focus your gaze a bit more."
Bella followed his directions, "Senior Quinn, is this okay?"
"Yes, it looks great." Archer gazed at the girl in the lens, momentarily captivated.
In the lens, Bella, wearing a large thick coat, still looked petite. Her hair was tied up in a loose bun, with fluffy fringes enhancing her crow-feather-like lashes and cute little nose, making her look as delicate and adorable as a doll.
Archer snapped out of it, his eyes gentle as he pressed the shutter button.
The cute girl bathed in sunlight was captured on the phone, making him want to keep her safe in his heart forever.
With Archer, a familiar face, around, Bella felt much more at ease while filming the show. She had grown up helping take care of children in an orphanage, so she was adept at all sorts of household chores. Diligent and unpretentious, she’d soon formed good relations with the four hosts of the show.
Working together was much more relaxing than filming a TV drama.
After dinner, Archer discussed with the other four and finally decided he and Bella would sleep in one room while the other four shared the master bedroom.
When Bella came out after showering, Archer had already prepared the bed for her. Seeing her, he said, "It’s quite cold at night in the mountains. If you brought thick pajamas, you should wear them to avoid catching a cold."
"Hehe, good thing I’m smart, I’ve got coral fleece pajamas." Bella pulled her pajamas out of her suitcase and put them on over her clothes, saying, "Senior Quinn, you sleep first. I’ll do a few exercises before sleeping."
"No, you won’t." Archer stepped forward and confiscated her textbook, "Today was exhausting enough, get some rest early."
