Chapter 416 - 415: You Can’t Just Leave Me Behind
Chapter 416 - 415: You Can’t Just Leave Me Behind
In the eyes of these aristocratic families, many actors are just playthings to them, never truly taken to heart.
Vivian Norris lay on the ground, no longer pretending to be pitiful. She immediately turned around, crawled over, and hugged Jaden Lynch’s leg, crying loudly, "Young Master Lynch, I’m carrying your child, you can’t just leave me like this!"
Cecilia Lynch frowned, bent down, grabbed Vivian Norris’s arm, and pulled her away. "Shut up! We’ll talk about this later!"
Vivian Norris looked at Jaden Lynch with tears in her eyes. Jaden Lynch snorted impatiently, not even glancing at her.
"Old Mr. Langdon..."
Jaden Lynch wanted to apologize to Old Mr. Langdon, but as soon as he spoke, Old Mr. Langdon waved his hand and said, "My place is too small for deities. You should take them away first, don’t dirty my place."
Jaden Lynch wanted to say something else, but Cecilia Lynch pulled him and said, "Old Mr. Langdon, I’m sorry, this is entirely our fault. We’ll come by another day to apologize." She gave her brother a meaningful look as she spoke.
Jaden Lynch had lost all face today; if Bella Acker hadn’t held Damian Sinclair back earlier, he might have gotten another beating.
Old Mr. Langdon said, "It’s cold outside, everyone come inside."
The commotion was over, and of course, the others respected Old Mr. Langdon, so they all retreated to the living room.
Aunt Rhodes took Bonnie and followed Damian Sinclair and Bella Acker to the entrance of the villa.
At the entrance, Bella Acker reached out and pinched Bonnie’s cheek gently, saying softly, "Bonnie, did that scare you just now?"
"Yes." Bonnie nodded.
The scene earlier had really frightened the child. She was still nestled in Aunt Rhodes’ arms, her eyes still showing fear.
"Aunt Rhodes, it’s all my fault, I scared Bonnie." Bella Acker felt a bit guilty.
"Silly Bella, what silly things are you saying!" Aunt Rhodes looked at the injuries on her body, her heart aching, "If it weren’t for me taking Bonnie out for some air, who knows how you would have been bullied by those two! Are the scratches on your body very painful? Let me take a look."
Bella Acker slightly dodged and said, "Aunt Rhodes, they’re just minor scratches, don’t worry about me. No matter what, thank you and Bonnie so much today."
"Silly Bella." Aunt Rhodes’s heart ached terribly, but she restrained her emotions on her face, turning instead to Damian Sinclair, "Mr. Sinclair, Bella has a lot of wounds, let’s take her to the hospital to have them checked and treated first."
"Aunt Rhodes, there’s no need." Bella Acker spoke before Damian Sinclair could answer, "Aunt Rhodes, Bonnie is also frightened, you should take him home to calm him down first. I’m worried he won’t be able to sleep well tonight."
Bonnie hid her head in Aunt Rhodes’ arms even more.
Aunt Rhodes was torn, unable to decide.
Damian Sinclair spoke up, "I will take care of Bella."
Aunt Rhodes sighed, "Alright, then I’ll take Bonnie home. Bella, call me if anything comes up, okay?"
"Yes, I will." Bella Acker nodded.
Aunt Rhodes hesitated again and said, "Mr. Sinclair, may I ask what relation you have to the Sinclair Family in Creston?"
"That’s my family," Damian Sinclair said.
Aunt Rhodes’s pupils seemed to dilate slightly, taking a few seconds to return to normal, "I see..."
"Aunt Rhodes, what’s wrong?" Bella Acker was puzzled, always feeling that Aunt Rhodes looked a bit strange.
"It’s nothing." Aunt Rhodes forced a smile, "You go to the hospital quickly, remember to call me."
