Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife

Chapter 344 - 343: A Bit of Regret

Chapter 344 - 343: A Bit of Regret

Bella hadn’t noticed before, but thinking back, she realized that the middle-aged woman she met at the amusement park yesterday really resembled her mom.

And the more she thought about it, the more they seemed almost identical.

But Aunt Sienna said her mom had died, so could that middle-aged woman be her mom’s sister?

What a pity, if she had known what her mom looked like, she could have asked the middle-aged woman yesterday.

Now it’s like finding a needle in a haystack to meet her again.

Bella sighed with some regret and said, "It’s true. Thinking about it now, aside from the age difference, her features really looked like mom’s. It’s a shame we just had a fleeting encounter yesterday, and it’s unlikely we’ll meet again. If I had known, I would have accepted her invitation and arranged to have a meal together."

"She invited you to a meal?" Aunt Sienna found it even stranger.

Bella explained, "Because her child bumped into me, she apologized and invited us to a meal, but I declined at the time." In hindsight, even if it was inconvenient to have a meal together yesterday because of Damian’s birthday, they could have arranged to meet for tea another day.

But this regret only arose after Bella realized the middle-aged woman closely resembled her mother, Laura Locke.

Aunt Sienna nodded at this, "She might really be your aunt, but it could also just be a coincidence. You know how TV often reports on people who look like celebrities, and those look-alike shows."

"True." Bella sighed, still feeling a bit regretful but not overly fixated.

If fate allows them to meet again, she’ll ask then. If not, there’s nothing she can do.

When they finished visiting the grave and took a taxi back to the orphanage, it was past noon. Ethan and the others had finished lunch and were playing games in the yard. Damian was sitting on a bamboo chair at the door, watching over the five children to prevent any accidents.

As Bella and Aunt Sienna walked into the yard, Ethan was leading his siblings in playing with toy excavators.

Seeing them return, the children happily rushed forward and hugged their legs. "Aunt Sienna, Bella, you’re back!"

"Have you had lunch?" Bella asked with a smile, picking up a little girl not yet two years old.

"Yes, we have," Ethan answered quickly, "Uncle made us lunch, it was really good!"

Aunt Sienna was a bit surprised; she never expected someone like Damian would actually cook.

Isn’t it common for young masters from wealthy families not to step into the kitchen, not even knowing the difference between chives and garlic sprouts?

Seeing her surprise, Bella whispered with a smile, "Damian is a great cook. When we lived together, he mostly did the cooking."

"Really?" Aunt Sienna turned her head to look at her, finding this quite unexpected.

If that’s the case, then if Bella marries Mr. Sinclair in the future, she probably wouldn’t have much to worry about, would she?

If so, Aunt Sienna could be more at ease.

"Really," Bella nodded, "Aunt Sienna, don’t think Damian’s unfriendly just because he doesn’t smile much. He actually has a good heart, he’s just a bit reserved and doesn’t talk much, which makes him seem intimidating. But he’s really good to those around him and knows how to take care of people."
